There is a gulf between Star Wars SF which should be described as fantasy and Avatar and A-I Science Fiction, which is also fantastic but far more likely, though futuristic. Different worlds need different people, different concepts of time and distance, unfamiliar etiquette and politics, a different sun and moon and because they have different constellation, different gods. That's what I'm bringing to the table. To do it right you have to be able to perceive Earth as alien. For a start that means looking at it upside down and in infra red perhaps.
