Memoirs of a Pleb

Memoirs of a Pleb  is not another Rags to Riches or Nobody to Somebody cocktail, shaken and served with crushed ice. That said, who among us aspires to being a lifelong, card carrying member of the 99% and yet here we all are?

For real people, real life lies sandwiched somewhere between those Rags to Riches and Anonymous to the Greatest of All Time sagas. Real lives describe billions of untold stories starring real people who must also drag ourselves out of hopelessness and despair deep enough to sometimes forget what happiness is. Regardless, we must dust ourselves down to ‘go at it’ again and yet again if need be.

In reality, Plebs have longer to climb and more to learn but also to lose. For me, that included a vile egocentric racism and a brand of misogyny so casual that it followed me around like a stray dog. Discovering my real self obliged me to temporarily take flight, losing excess baggage that I wasn’t even aware I was carrying. I was certainly a lot lighter as a result but I still needed some direction but lucky for me, it came with a capital ‘D’.

Let me take you on just one of countless but guaranteed genuine journeys through the quagmire of this thing we call life. And no need to look so down, because it wasn’t all gloom and doom. In truth, people with less are easier to please and while ‘They’ are still working on charges for laughter, for us it will always be free.

Speaking of 'Free' ... Why not drop by my wordpress website (Link Above) and then stop on the page dedicated to this release. Scroll down until you see the image of a Mini eBook or Me-Book. Click on it for a minimum 4 Chapter e-pub download to sample the contents. I hope it tempts you but do shop wisely. Kobo seems to have the best E-Book deal and Amazon will imminently be exclusive to paperback copies.

Greetings to all on what was intended to be my literary rebirth but what turns out to be a simple prelude to a book launch, though this time with a difference.

The fact is that I've been sitting on a fairly serious 'Non-Fiction' release for some time now wondering what to do with it ... as in ... paperback and/or e-Book and on what platforms?

The main issue is that without an agent or some serious marketting, my earlier books have ended up largely gathering dust on Kindle and like I said alongside, I also need to improve some of the more significant works with updates slash re-issues but this time in print and not solely as e-Books.

So, I looked at the options with the aim of increasing visibility but also to keep costs down. Paperbacks can double in cost from printer to printer as well as from platform to platform and I don't expect people to fork out more than they need to. Don't get me wrong ... my books will most certainly take YOU on vacations but at the end of the day, they are just books.

Having done due diligence, my E-Books will primarily be available through Kobo, where they will end up on a wider variety of digital outlets. They will also appear on the Amazon platform, though no longer exclusively. Print and delivery options from Amazon are by far the cheapest and that is my prime concern because a happy customer comes back. So, paperbacks are primarily available from Amazon.
